他替弟弟作了一張書桌;

他替妹妹栽種了一株玫瑰花;

讓我們在上面盪來盪去;

My Best Vacation to Taiwan

2

        Last summer holiday, I went to Taiwan with my mum, dad and sister. It was really fun and exciting there!

        On the first day, we went to a big beach to swim. When we arrived, I saw a lot of golden sand and the beautiful sea. I ran to the sea quickly and jumped into the water. “Cool! I can swim like a fish!” I thought. Then, we built a sandcastle on the beach. I built a grand huge sandcastle and my sister made a sea turtle. We even buried Daddy in the sand and made him a mermaid tail! It was really fun! In the evening, we went to a restaurant to eat fresh seafood. How delicious!

        The next day, we went to a big forest. There were a lot of flowers and trees which were very colourful. There were some cute animals like birds, monkeys and squirrels too. Among all the animals there, I liked squirrels the best. Big eyes, bobbly tails and tiny mouths, they were really cute! At night, we had dinner in the hotel. We ate Taiwanese noodles and fish. Then, we watched television in the room happily.

        On the last day, we went shopping all day. First, we went to a shopping mall to buy clothes and food. I bought a really beautiful dress and a pair of shoes with cute cats on top. I bought an ice-cream too. Then, we went to a night market to have dinner. We ate a lot of traditional food of Taiwan and watched the magnificent night view. It’s really beautiful!

        After the travel in Taiwan, I learnt so much about this place. I felt so excited throughout the trip. Taiwan is really an amazing place. This was definitely the most unforgettable trip that I have never had!

My Best Vacation to Thailand

1

        I had a wonderful summer vacation last year. Do you know what made it so wonderful? It’s the amazing trip to Thailand! I went to Pattaya in Thailand with my family last summer holiday. It was an unforgettable experience which I would never forget!

        On the first day, when we arrived at the five-star hotel, I was surprised by the beautiful and stunning view! I noticed that there was a beach. I shouted, “Wow, what a wonderful view! Dad, I want to swim right now, can I?” I begged. “OK!” Dad answered. After we changed our own swimwear, we ran to the beach at once. My elder sister and I jumped into the sea happily. Then, we built a sandcastle. I had never touched soft sand before, at that moment, I really wanted to bring some back to Hong Kong! The Pattaya beach was big enough, so it wasn’t too crowded even there were a lot of people. There were also a lot of trees around the beach, so we felt really relaxed.

        On the second day, we took a walk on the beach again, I noticed that there was a hawker helping a little girl to tie a lot of pigtails. It was interesting, so I walked to the hawker with my sister to have a closer look at the little girl’s hairstyle. After having a look, we tried the same style as the little girl finally. Soon, we learnt that it’s the traditional Thailand hairstyle. We kept that Thailand hairstyle until we went back home. How crazy we were!

        At last, we were all hungry, so we went to a Thai restaurant by taking a “tuk tuk” to have our supper. Do you know what a “tuk tuk” is? It is the common road transport in Thailand. It is cheap and convenient. However, there is no door for a “tuk tuk”, but don’t be scared, it is safe because the drivers in Thailand drive slowly and safely.

        I had a relaxing time in Thailand. I was also glad that my family and I had an amazing trip together. The trip has left a lot of beautiful and memorable footprints in my heart. I hope I can go to Thailand again!

Meg Grinny

        Meg Grinny is my younger sister. She is only seven this year. She has blonde, curly long hair. She usually ties her hair in plaits but sometimes she wears her hair loose. She has moon-shaped eyebrows and her eyes are as bright as crystals. She has a flat nose and rosy cheeks. She is really really adorable!

        Meg is a kind, friendly and sweet little girl. She is always willing to give a hand to others when they are in need. She’s helpful and smart. She always tries her best to help others. She has saved most of her money to help the needy. She also learns things very fast. Once I told her how to mix different colours using blue, yellow and red, she can do it on her own at once!

        Meg likes to play the piano and the violin. She also likes to do Jazz and Kpop dance. Moreover, she likes reading books and collecting CDs from different pianists and violinists. There was a time I asked her which book she liked the most and she answered me, “Harry Potter!” I was very surprised to know that she could read such a thick book with so many difficult words!

        This is my younger sister and the cutest girl ever—Meg Grinny!
